NutrEval FMV is a urine and blood test developed by Genova Diagnostics that evaluates nutritional status, metabolic function, and functional nutrient needs. The assessment uses a combination of mass spectrometry and other laboratory technologies to measure a broad range of biomarkers, including vitamins, minerals, amino acids, fatty acids, organic acids, oxidative stress markers, and indicators of digestive and mitochondrial function. Together, these findings may provide biochemical information regarding nutritional and metabolic status that clinicians may consider alongside standard clinical assessment. NutrEval® FMV is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of multiple physiological systems using a single assessment. By integrating biomarkers from several functional health domains, the report may help providers identify potential nutrient gaps, assess metabolic pathways, and prioritise individualised nutrition and lifestyle interventions. Results should always be interpreted within the context of the patient's history, physical examination, dietary intake, medications, and other laboratory findings, because individual biomarker abnormalities do not establish a diagnosis or determine clinical significance on their own.
