Pediatric health is shaped by dynamic changes in growth, development, nutrition, and environment across infancy, childhood, and adolescence. This course provides clinicians with a practical, integrative framework for understanding the key foundations that influence pediatric health and long-term outcomes.
Participants will explore the major stages of childhood development and the critical role of early life exposures in shaping cognitive, behavioral, and physical health trajectories. The course reviews essential laboratory markers and screening considerations in pediatrics, including how factors such as growth, age, and body composition influence interpretation.
The course also examines evidence-informed nutrition and supplement strategies commonly used in pediatric care, including omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin D, magnesium, multivitamins, and probiotics. In addition, clinicians will learn how to apply practical lifestyle interventions—including sleep, movement, and dietary patterns—to support resilience and overall well-being.
Additionally, the course explores the pediatric immunity, gastrointestinal function, cognition, and obesity from an integrative perspective. Throughout the course, emphasis is placed on individualized, developmentally appropriate care, equipping clinicians with tools to assess and support pediatric patients using a comprehensive, whole-person approach.
